I guess you could say,
Peter was fully committed
in those wondrous moments
stepping from a swaying ship
out onto the rolling seas
The master said “come”, and
he went, over the side,
up onto the waters, walking
as if on dry land
fully committed, in relationship
focused on the living Christ
the Messiah, living with him
studying at his feet,
performing miracles with him
being his hands, feeding the multitude
healing as he was taught
long before the flames
steeled his nerves
