His story, the pastor’s words
so familiar to me
a smile, knowing, grew on my face
He told of their incessant questions
each day, can I have a snack?
snack time after school
He has provided us
what do we give them
to meet their daily needs
Simple food, small gifts
How much more
He give each of us, each day
