Like the flash of light,
God was in the days of darkness,
the prayer and fasting in his cell in Damascus
God was there, in the heart of Saul
stilling the noise in his spirit
letting the words from heaven,
from the Messiah, sink into his soul
In those days of darkness
His sight forever changed
Ready now for the faithfulness
the hand of Ananias, to see
