Lord, I wandered in the wilderness You saved me even though I am a sinner I stayed away from your church, You saved me even though I am a sinner I strayed away from the faith of my youth You saved me even though I am a sinner I thought I didn’t need the church You saved me even though I am a sinner I lived my life outside of a faith community You saved me even though I am a sinner I did my own thing You saved me even though I am a sinner I was lost You saved me even though I am a sinner I violated your commandments, your laws You saved me even though I am a sinner I have sinned against my neighbor and against you You saved me even though I am a sinner You brought me back to the flock You saved me even though I am a sinner You welcomed me in You saved me even though I am a sinner You gave me a home in your church You saved me even though I am a sinner You taught me Your Word You saved me even though I am a sinner You gave me gifts beyond measure You saved me even though I am a sinner You showed me where to serve You saved me even though I am a sinner Help me to never stray again You saved me even though I am a sinner Amen.
