Red Sky by Raymond A. Foss
Red Sky at night, sailor’s delight or so the tale goes; but I wonder what those sailors would have made of last night. Red sky didn’t stay up in the sky. Our hands, our features, the buildings, the air itself were red, not just a tint to the sky above. A hot red orange sky hung down to the ground for a few moments, before the thunderclouds cast a darker shadow over all Red sky, all at warning.
