Unchanging

Holding on
When I should let go
Hanging in
After its over
Staying
When I should let go

Taking the next
Step
On the planned,
Broken path
Mumbling
When I should speak

Is it fear
Or duty
Judging,
Not disappointing
Others
Or myself

Not following my dream,
Too cautious
To demand more
To risk
With consciousness
Of the consequences of
Inaction
