I can give up on your love,

And watch you walk away;

I can give up all my happiness,

And the joy that fills my day.

I can give up all your kisses,

And the way you held me tight;

I can give up your companionship,

And learn to face the night.

I can give up all your beauty,

And the way you used to smell;

I can give up your sweet smile,

And the touch that made me well.

I can give up on your tender ways,

And in time I will forget;

I can give up memories,

And the time we first met.

I can give up quite a lot,

But the reason I won’t go;

I refuse to just walk away,

And watch you loose your soul.
