Frank Bidart (b. 1939 in Bakersfield, California) is an American poet. In 1957, he began to study at the University of California at Riverside. In 1962, he began studying with Robert Lowell and Reuben Brower at Harvard. He is currently a professor of English at Wellesley College. Frank Bidart has published five books of poetry.
